Original Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent, “unissued” condition Bowie Ax by True Balance with correct leather sheath. Harry K. McEvoy, considered to be the Father of modern day knife throwing was a long time resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He founded the Tru-Balance Knife Company in 1949 and was one of the primary suppliers of quality throwing knives to professional and sportsman throwers alike.

This example of the “Bowie Ax” is in wonderful condition and shows little to no signs of use or sharpening. A well made throwing knife made by the Tru-Balance Company. 13.25 inch overall length with a 9 inch chrome finished blade and black hard rubber grips. The leather sheath is correct and original, with all nine steel rivets and stitching intact.

A lovely example ready for further research and display.
