Original Items. One-of-a-Kind. This is a great set of South African WWII Medals both engraved to Mr. J.H. De Waard, who served in the South African Army during World War II.
The medals are engraved 110638 J.H. DE WAARD. The two medals are unfortunately stapled to the sheet they are on, but otherwise they’re in great condition with only heavy wear to the planchet of the African service medal. The ribbons are on a bar and in great shape.
The coolest part of the set is the original shipping envelope the medals came in, which shows that De Waard lived in Cape Town, South Africa.
