Original Item: Only One Available. This is an original pattern 1935 Artillery / Armored uniform set for the Russian rank of Kombrig which translates to Commanding Officer of the Brigade. The model 1935 uniform did not feature shoulder boards as the communist thinking at the time is that shoulder boards were a bourgeois indication of the Imperialist era. Introduced in 1935, the Red Army soldier was issued with both summer and winter field service dress. Both officers and men (other ranks) wore 'sharovari' trousers, a semi-breeches garment, the other ranks' issue being distinguished by the diamond-shaped reinforcing patches at the knees.
- M-1935 Tunic, this fine M35 jacket is offered in very good condition. It is constructed of heavy rough green/brown wool exterior with a soft cotton lining. The color insignia is 1935-1940 variant with black patches piped in red which signifies Artillery or Armor. Each sleeve is piped in red and features a Universal Military Political Staff Sleeve Star which is a Soviet Red Star with embroidered gold hammer and sickle and a border piped in pink. Buttons are features a soviet star, five button single breasted design with no vent flap to rear. Size is approximately a US 40.

- 1940 Dated Size 59cm M-1924 Tankist Leather Cap with red enamel soviet star cap badge. Inside of the sweatband it is nicely stamped with dated and size. Cap is offered in overall good condition but shows wear and use.
