Item Description
Original item: These are sword bayonets for use with M1924 and M1930 Short Rifles produced by Fabrique Nationale in Belgium. These particular models were made specifically for export, to take advantage of the Post-WWI need to arm many countries, particularly those in South America and in other locations no longer under European control.
These bayonets were produced in several lengths, usually seen in long (15 in.) and short (11.75 in.) variations. These however fit the pattern completely, but have a longer 17 inch blade, which would pair best with the short rifles. Condition varies on these, as do the style of finish, with some bright steel and some blued.
