Original Item: Only One Available. This is a quite large 26" Iron Barreled Flintlock Blunderbuss Swivel gun that is 2.5" wide across the muzzle. Overall length is 42 inches.
All brass military mounts with heavy hardwood stock cut for swivel yoke mount approximately at center, mount not present. Barrel still retains clear correct British proof marks for the era. Lock marked LONDON with a crown over S.M. thought to be for the London gun maker military contractor William Moore who worked at 78 Edware Road, London and made flintlock swivel guns under Royal government contract. Mr. Moore remained in business until 1835.
This is a hard to find original British naval swivel blunderbuss complete with ramrod, ready to display in the finest of Naval collections.
