Item Description
Original Item. Only One Available. This is a great piece of WWII Anti-Japanese propaganda. When Japan occupied the Philippines, they issued their series of occupation currency for the country, which the Filipino people termed “Mickey Mouse Money” - an obvious reference to their contempt for the Japanese occupation pesos.
This is a booklet, measuring 8¼ x 3¼”, containing 10 bills of the Japanese-Philippine currency, ranging from One Centavo to One Thousand Pesos. All bills are in their original plastic wrapping and are in good shape. This is a great set of bills meant for collectors back during the war, still in the same condition it was issued in.
A great set, ready for further research and display.
