Item Description
Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a great lot of German-printed books meant for ship recognition, two being dated 1914 and the third being dated 1904. They were meant to teach sailors about the differences between German and enemy ships, with allied ships included as well.
The first book, Taschenbuch der Kriegsflotten 1914/15, is named on the interior cover to a sailor, H. Peifs, with what appears to be a unit, 5/R 92, and a date of 27.11.14. A great research opportunity! There are many diagrams and pull-out diagrams, especially in the 1904 book, which is more meant as a book about everything German Navy, from the ships to its organization to the differences in rank and rate of pay.
A fantastic set of books, perfect for the Imperial German researcher. Comes ready for further research and display.
