  • Original Item. Only One Available. This is a lovely example of a Spanish Artillery NCO’s sword with a lovely 26¾” blade, stamped FcaDE TOLEDO 1868, for manufacture at Fabrica de Toledo in Spain in 1868. These swords were manufactured from the 1860s through the 1890s, being supplied to both Philippine and Cuban troops, seeing much combat against American soldiers during the Spanish-American War.


    The blade is heavily oxidized in many spots, but the markings are still clear. The all-brass hilt is in good condition with a lovely patina. The overall length is 32¼”. This model of sword was one of the most popular bring-back items of U.S. soldiers during the war.


    A very lovely example, ready for further research and display.
