Designated "Bandoliers for Mounted Cavalry P-1903" this is a brown leather bandolier with five leather pockets, each designed to carry two 5 round stripper clips of .303 cal. Ammunition. Though developed a decade before The Great War, they saw much use during the conflict, and were in use after as well.
The bandoleer is stamped AUSTRALIA indicating issue to the ANZAC soldiers during World War I. There is also a D (Broad Arrow) D stamp. The leather of the belt is in rough condition with some cracking and crazing, but nothing horrible. The pouches are all retained with their knobs.
