Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. Totally inert and demilitarized according to BATF guidelines with hollow body and inert fuse. This grenade cannot be converted to an explosive device and is not available for export.
This is an interesting example of the Dutch V-45 Grenade, a variant of the well-known V-40 Mini grenade which saw combat use by the US military, particularly by the Navy SEALs.
The body is marked 6 or 9 on the bottom, with no other markings. Due to the short life of this variant, there isn’t much information at all about them. They used the same fragmentation system as the V40 with a slightly longer body.
The grenade measures roughly 2⅛ x 1¾”. A great example, ready for further research and display.
