Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is an outstanding charcoal grey leather deck jacket as worn by Kriegsmarine personnel during WWII. The jacket is of heavy blue grey leather with a three-button double breasted front furnished featuring large bakelite buttons, with the upper right side button looking to have been replaced post war. There is some wear to the exterior, but no major damage, and it features horizontal slash waist pockets lined with high pile charcoal gray cotton. The interior of the jacket is lined with the same material, and has a horizontal slash pocket on the inner left chest lined partly with HBT material
The jacket looks to originally have had a maker label on the inside of the collar, however it is now missing, though the hanger loop is still present. The ends of the sleeves still retain their straps and buttons.
This is an iconic Kriegsmarine garment, as associated with deck and U-boat personnel during World War Two. offered in very good condition.
