Item Description
Original Items: Only One Available. This is a very nice German WWII Treuewerkabzeichen der Betriebsgemeinschaften der Luftfarht (Loyal Worker Badge of the Aviation Operating Associations) stickpin. The front shows an eagle with a crossed T and Ƶ (wolfsangel rune) on its breast, perched on top of a shield with a white enamel field and black "mobile" swas insignia. The reverse has the correct pin for mounting to a shirt collar, with GES. GESCH stamped at the top, short for Gesetzlich Geschützt (Protected by Law), indicating the design is registered with the German trademark office.
These were given out in recognition of services to the aviation industry during the Third Reich period, which helped to build a sense of comradery and achievement among members of the aviation industry. Maintaining production was vital to the war effort, so most industries gave out all types of awards.
