Item Description
Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a great lot of five aircraft gauges, four Soviet & one Chinese, used during the Post-WWII/Cold War Era. Two of the gauges are removable but the other three are fastened to the board. One of the gauges has cracked glass as shown.
The display board measures roughly 10 x 14”.
The Chinese gauge is marked with a tag A.S. INDIC. CHINESE A.F. MIG-21, indicating this came off of a Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 supersonic jet fighter, dating it to the 1950s/1960s. The gauge reads AIR SPEED in chinese. The glass on this gauge is cracked as shown.
The top right Russian gauge is marked KM HEIGHT which indicates it measures altitude. The lower left gauge is a clock that still winds and functions, with the right knob turning it on and off. The lower right gauge measures speed in km. The middle gauge is a gyro gauge which is definitely the coolest of the set.
This is a great set of gauges in great shape, ready for further research and display!
