Item Description
Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a very interesting set of blue-colored plastic grenades from the modern period, some of Spanish and some of German manufacture. There is very little information that we can find about these, but they will make for a good research project. Not Available for Export.
Two of the grenades are very similar with a ribbed body and cap, with markings LOS BCK-27 and LOS BCK-12-1 on the bottom of each, with a model designation above the ribbing, and the use of Ü would suggest German origin. These measure 4¼ x 2½”. The third is a very small example that comes apart, and measures 2 x 2½”. No markings. The last is a complex example that resembles what most people would consider a grenade to look like, with an intact pull ring and fuze. When the ring is pulled the two pieces of the shell supposedly come off and release what may be a chemical payload.
A very interesting set of plastic grenades, ready for further research and display.
