Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a fantastic collection of five beautifully painted wall insignia for units of the American Expeditionary Forces. These were painted and hung in an American Legion / VFW sometime after the war. They are all in varying sizes and have holes to allow for mounting. The insignia included are:
• 3rd Division insignia - One of the most combat torn divisions of the AEF, in great shape minus one chunk of wood missing in the middle and loss on blue paint in one corner. 17½ x 17½”.
• 26th Division Yankee - great example in basically perfect shape. The first National Guard Division to arrive overseas. 13 x 13”.
• 6th Division - great shape with a 6 in the middle. 17½ x 17½”.
• 79th Division - one of the most popular AEF Divisions, very scarce on a yellow background. 20 x 20”.
• 14th Division - a VERY scarce stateside division example, in great shape overall with some tiny chipping to one corner. 18 x 20”.
This is a fantastic group of insignia sure to bring much-needed color into any US WWI collection. Comes ready for display!
