We are offering a great selection of this piece of WWII homefront paraphernalia to display with your WWII Collection, complete Victory Loan matchbooks, still full of their original matches. We tested one match and it did not light, so please only buy this as a great displayable historical piece, not for actual use! The matchbooks measure roughly 2 x 1⅝” closed.
The matchbooks display a white V with a red and blue background on one side, and a Continental soldier statue with the caption FOR VICTORY BUY UNITED STATES WAR SAVINGS BONDS AND STAMPS on the other side. The bottom reads MADE IN U.S.A. THE DIAMOND MATCH CO. N.Y.C.. A great piece of ephemera that will add some color and flair to your collection. Some packs may be missing one or two matches, but most all are complete, you will receive one as shown. Get one before they’re all gone! Comes ready for further research and display!
