Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice example of an Imperial Russian canvas ammunition pouch bandolier. The beige canvas pouch portion measures 21 1/2" long, and has 6 pouches for cartridges in stripper clips, with a cover flap on the other side, as well as a securing strap. The shoulder strap is about 37 inches long, and attaches to a buckle on the other side.
The interior of the pouch looks to be marked with a factory stamp reading "Tovarishestvo B.K.L M", however the Czarist era eagles have been marked over, indicating that this pouch continued in service after the Russian revolution. There are additional markings as well, one of which is partly covered, but still displays a clear 1916 date.
A really hard to find example of WWI Imperial Russian field equipment, which continued to see service into the Communist Era.
