Original Items. Only One Pair Available. This is an extremely scarce set of World War I dated Gewehr 98 Ammunition pouches, with one being dated 1915. These are very difficult to find without post-war modifications. The pair matches well and would look fantastic displayed together on a belt.
One of the pouches retain faint German unit markings on top of one pouch, but they are too difficult to read. Maybe with enough work, they could be discerned. Most of these were reused by Finland post-war, but this pair is free of any Finnish markings. Both are in good shape with some loss of stitching and service wear.

The metal fittings have varying amounts of verdigris which is to be expected. These pouches are in fantastic shape for being in complete WWI Configuration. The pair come ready for further research and display!
