Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is really special being manufactured in South Africa at Graham's Town by the renowned local Gun Maker JOHN HAYTON, for use on larger game. Serial number 5580 with 30" barrels and measuring 47" in overall length. It is marked JOHN HAYTON on both locks, and the top of the barrel is marked:
JOHN HAYTON GRAHAM'S TOWN 5580
The left barrel has deep two groove rifling, and is in .50 cal or there about, with the right barrel being about .72" the same as a 12 gauge shotgun. It is fitted with a STEEL reversible ramrod used on both barrels depending which end you insert. It has Four flip-up rear sights, and the barrel strap is marked with increments to 2,000 yards. It looks as though there was originally a sliding sight that could be added to the top for long range use, however it is unfortunately no longer with the gun.
A high quality and HEAVY weapon that meant business for the great white hunter. Ready to display!
