Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. The Medal "For the Defence of Sevastopol" was a World War II campaign medal of the Soviet Union established on December 22, 1942 by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR to reward the participants of the defence of the port city of Sevastopol against the armed forces of Germany and Romania.
This is a gorgeous example which comes with its original award document. This medal was awarded to Ivan Karmeevich, and from the stamp on the back of the document we can see he was a member of the 213th Separate Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment, Azov Flotilla. This is a great medal with a ton of research potential!
The award document measures 5⅝ x 8¼”. A fantastic example, ready for further research and display!
