New Made Item: Simply put, this is the very best full size, full weight replica "non-gun" Sten MkII available anywhere. It doesn't shoot but it works! This is a very impressive reproduction of the Classic British WW2 Sub-machinegun of history and legend. Just about indistinguishable from the real thing.
The STEN (or Sten gun) was a British 9 mm submachine guns used extensively by British and Commonwealth forces throughout World War II and the Korean War. They were notable for having a simple design and very low production. STEN is an acronym, from the names of the weapon's chief designers, Major Reginald V. Shepherd and Harold Turpin, and EN for Enfield. The Sten was a blowback-operated submachine gun firing from an open bolt with a fixed firing pin on the face of the bolt.
This is an all-metal construction Sten. This is NOT the mostly plastic or resin Sten replica that has been floating around the market for years, nor is it a cheap airsoft toy; this is A BRAND NEW MODEL GUN! Working bolt and trigger, removable magazine (magazine has no internal spring). Looks stunning with one of our original WW2 STEN slings.
So go ahead, operate the bolt, cock the weapon, change the magazine, and pull the trigger for a realistic snap! Even the weight is accurate at 8 pounds. This is a HIGH QUALITY item and it is available at a fabulously reasonable price.
