Original Item: In excellent condition, these are Original WW2 dated British Map cases, complete with hard backing board inside a plastic windowed compartment, the window will some age yellowing. Pen and Instrument holders inside closing flap together with WW2 maker's markings and dates. Brass snaps and buckles complete with original shoulder sling, probably never issued, measuring 9"x11" closed.
Yes, an iPad or comparedable tablet PC or eReader WILL fit nicely inside.
