New Made Item: Derived from the Model 1931 used by Mountain troops, the M41 Rucksack or Backpack also completely replaced the Tornister 39 in tropical zones. Because of its undoubted practicality and modernity, in 1944, it came to form part of the standard wehrmacht marching equipment until the end of the war. The rucksack had internal pockets for the cooking utensils, sewing kit, etc.
The construction this reproduction is second to none. Correct cotton canvas with genuine leather tabs, steel fittings and correct full size, just like they were made in WW2!
This backpack interfaced with both the 1939 leather Y straps and canvas Y straps.
We include simple shoulder straps for ease of use, but for true authentic wear this pack should be paired with our excellent German WW2 leather Y-Straps (AGG7116).
Y-Straps are not included, however, simple leather shoulder straps are included.

they have a large a good assortiment of products everything if affordable and as far as im concerned useable though not necessarily hardwearing or long lasting (depends on the product) fairly well made
German WWII Rucksack model 1941
I purchased mine personally to use as a backpack, as I like vintage and military style things. I was impressed with the quality and price.
Just what I needed.
Wonderful item for my impression. I can use at events, and large enough to hold all my extra gear.
Worked for D-Day
Took it to Conneaut and wore it with my uniform, mess kit looked great strapped to it and got compliments from the Zugfuherers really made my first reenactment event

Well made. People have already pointed out the drawstring. I purchased this because the stitching is closest to my original. My son is using it for his backpack in high school. It's better made than the currently available gear and he can use it for reenactments as well. I'll probably get another one so I don't keep using my original. Definitely well worth the money and the drawstring is an easy fix.
German backpack
Good so far. It's going to be use this weekend at a D-day event in Ohio.
It’s good.
Literally the only complaint is that there’s only one center strap instead of two for the main pouch from a consumer standpoint. From a historic standpoint my only complaint is that the main drawstring cord is nylon instead of cotton, but that’s easily replaceable. Either way it looks good and works well.

Very Nice Reproduction. Was concerned about thickness of the canvas before ordering, but when I received the Rucksack, I was Very Pleased. I would definitely order again.
