Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This was a difficult one to research for sure. We believe this to be a hard rubber coated steel bodied practice grenade to simulate the Austrian Type ARGES HdGr-78 defensive hand grenade. The grenade itself was never filled with any explosive content and is inert and in total compliance per the current BATF standards governing ordnance.
Not Available For Export.
The grenade itself is in good condition but does show signs of heavy use and wear. The rubber coating on the steel body has hardened over the years and now shows extensive cracking as well as pieces missing. The spoon, pin and “fuze” are all still intact and in wonderful condition. The only markings that can be found are on the fuze housing and they are the number 78 on one side and 2 on the other.
A strange, wonderful grenade ready for further research and display.
