Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. We just received this lovely Antique Converted musket, along with about 200 other guns, from a collection that sat in an attic for close to 100 years. Here is an English FLINTLOCK single barrel fowling piece with a half octagonal barrel to the rear with a round barrel to the muzzle. It is half-stoked and has brass mounts, butt plate, trigger guard, side plate and ram rod pipes. The walnut stock is checkered at the grip.
The engraved lock is now totally devoid of markings, perhaps the Gun smith's name has been removed. The Barrel however has all British Proof markings, including Crown / V for viewed and the Crown / P black powder proof, which are London Proofs.
In nice matured condition, from a huge collection that was put into storage for nearly 100 years only recently coming to market, ready to display!
