  • Original Item: One-of-a-kind. This is a large, 9.5" tall, brass powder flak embossed with a hunter sitting under a tree taking a little libation with his dog at his feet and a dead stag laying on the ground. His powder flask, hunting horn and game bag hang in the tree above him.

Dating anywhere in the first half of the 19th century, this most likely was made between 1810 and 1830 in England. The adjustable powder nozzle calibrated for four different loads, the charger return spring is now absent. Offered as found, uncleaned and showing some minor dents, as it came out of the attic, a totally honest all brass powder flask with perhaps 200 years of age.
