Item Description
Original Item: Genuine British manufactured Martini-Henry wood butt stocks for the MKII rifle. These stocks all show damage, typically they have cracked through the wrist and along the spine due to swelling of the internal stock bolt caused by moisture, rust and time. Most should be repairable by experienced or dedicated wood worker gunsmiths. Markings vary, but all will have both British Military and Nepalese markings. Butt plates are not included, but are available separately. Photos show typical examples of what you can expect to receive.

Be glad they're available!
This butt stock has a splintered wrist with a frozen stock bolt, the top butt plate screw rusted out and created a minor split, and the wood is splintered where the stock cup was removed. That said, it is all repairable and it will leave me with a period replacement at a very low price; you do need woodworking skill to repair it. I'm glad to have it, and I would buy one again.
