Only One Set Available: This is an excellent condition complete fighter pilot set from World War Two which consists of the following two items:
Original WWII British RAF Royal Air Force Type D Flying Helmet
Excellent condition RAF D-Type Tropical Flying Helmet with internal wiring loom. Constructed of tan cotton fabric outer with neck flap, inside lined with white silk, and is complete with elastic chin strap. The helmet has an excellent internal wiring loom with jack plug and a pair of type C-3 10A/3698 receivers. Offered in excellent condition. Stamped NO. 4 SIZE 7½ - 7¾.
Original WWII U.S. Type A-14 Oxygen Mask Size Medium
Excellent condition mask manufactured by the Ohio Chemical & Mfg. Co. Stamped PROPERTY AIR FORCE U.S. ARMY SPEC NO. 3163 7-44 for a manufacture date of July 1944. Retains original strap which is broken, hose in good pliable shape. A large chunk of the mask has ripped off almost entirely. May need to be glued back together.
A great flight helmet set ready for further research and display.
