  • Original Item: The Vickers lock side levers are pivoted to the lock casing with the pivot bushing, and the pivot busing is retained in place with this split pin. The pin has a thin, broad flange at one end, while the other end is split and studded to latch into the bushing. In a very clever move, since the lock has to be disassembled frequently for cleaning, the T pin that helps secure the grip assembly to the receiver is designed so that one arm of the T serves as a drift pin to drive the split pin out of the bushing.
