Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely example of another rather difficult to find in today’s market, the Dutch Eihandgranaat No.1 “Egg” Grenade. This grenade was allegedly discovered in a German WWII bunker in Holland. Without any concrete evidence of this, we can only pass on the information that we received with the grenade.

Unloaded or dummy grenades, artillery shell casings, and similar devices, which are cut or drilled in an BATF-approved manner so that they cannot be used as ammunition components for destructive devices, are not considered NFA weapons. This example is in total compliance and is NOT AVAILABLE FOR EXPORT.

Eihandgranaat No. 1 was developed by the Dutch prior to World War II. After invading The Netherlands in 1940 the German army took over the remaining stocks of egg-grenades renaming them "handgranate 312 (h)”.

The overall condition of the grenade is quite nice though the top fuse covered does have some extensive corrosion present, most likely as a result of prolonged exposure to the elements. Both the top and bottom caps/plugs are still able to be removed, allowing for clear inspection of the interior. The body still retains an appeasing black color and is not without faults. The body does have pock marks present but nothing too damaging and just adds to the beauty of it.
