Genuine French WWI Egg Hand Grenades offered in good to very good condition. These grenades were manufactured between 1915 and 1917. They featured a bursting radius 38 feet. Each is offered totally inert without internal fuse or explosives. All retain original paint and will show some corrosion and age.
This example has a well marked fuze and spoon, marked A.E.M. as seen on many WWII Period french grenades. The body is in more worn condition, which has removed markings. This grenade appears to have been recovered and had the rust removed, which gives it a great battlefield pickup look.
