Original Item: Only One available. These are quite rare! We just received this very rare bayonet out of a large European Collection. Intended for use as a Short Sword as well as a bayonet, this Hirschfänger bayonet from the Grand Duchy of Baden has a 23" single edged blade with solid brass hilt with fluted grip. It measures 28" overall. This design is based on Hirschfänger (Deer Catcher) long hunting daggers in use in the German area for centuries.
