Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice 1915 dated World War One trench shovel which is also marked K.W. along with a another circle marking that is too worn to be legible. This shovel was reissued in WWII and painted in Deutsches Afrikakorps, DAK green, traces of which still remain.
For use in WW2 it was paired with a brown leather shovel carrier that was designed to attach to the belt. This carrier is in very good condition and it marked TEKN 1938.
Both items are offered in very good condition.
Shovel dimensions are as follows: overall length approximately 21 inches, blade length approximately 7.5 inches, blade width approximately 6 inches.
