Original Item: Only One Available. This is a wonderful German first world war Prussian brass mounted leather helmet known as Pickelhaulben. This Prussian Enlisted Black Leather Pickelhaube, with pressed brass helmet plate, brass spike with five ventilation holes and circular base, rear spine with ventilation shutter, with brass bound peak, painted pressed tin kokarden, and complete tongued leather liner.
Ink stamps show date of 1914 along with regimental markings. In the brass brim trim the manufacture name CLEMEN is easily seen and inside in the top of the bowl is the handwritten name HUNSEN.
Overall condition is very good to excellent.
