Original Item: Only One Available. This is a wonderful condition original German WWII Balkan Cross Panzer tank identification flag. It is in excellent condition and measures approximately 76" x 36" inches. Flag is constructed of cotton has four grommets (one in each corner) which were used to secure the flag to the back of the tank, facing the sky in order to prevent friendly fire from German aircraft. The flag is multi-piece construction with a Balkan cross dyed onto a circular white background, which is stitched onto the red base.
There are a few small tears in the material with some small stains, however nothing major. Really a great example of this type of flag.
