Original Items: One-of-a-kind grouping. Here we have a very nice German WWII Era set of various documents, brought home by a USGI after the war. The items range from simple Identification, to Employment Record books, and even to Air Raid instructions and a rental agreement! There are loads of translation and research potential in these items!
This very nice grouping includes:
- TWO German Deutsches Reich Kennkarte (German National identification card) identification pamphlets. These are both for women, and have the proper photograph, thumbprints, and relevant stamps.
- One German Deutsches Reich Arbeitsbuch (German National Work Book or Employment Record Book) named to Ernst Neff, dated 28.Oct.35.
- One set of THREE documents named to Georg Tobias of Breslau. These include one Deutsches Reich Arbeitsbuch (German National Work Book or Employment Record Book), one ANGESTELLTENVERSICHERUNG (Employee Insurance) Card, and one Steuerkarte 1939 tax control card document.
- One German Deutscher Einheits=Mietvertrag (German Lease Agreement) booklet.
- One German Merkblatt für den Luftschutz=Hausewart (Leaflet for air raid warden) for Ortsgruppe Bonn-Beuel. Included inside the pamphlet is another leaflet titled Die Brandbekämpfung im Luftschutz (Firefighting in Air Raid Protection).
