Original Item: Only One Available. WWII production for the German Navy and marked with spread eagle and swas stamping over a large initial M for Marine under the plated finish.
This is the classic design for Torpedo timing and used in U-Boats and E-Boats in the North Atlantic. Offered in great fully functional condition. The fluted knob on the top is used to wind up the movement, and to reset the timer. The second button the the left side starts and stops the stopwatch.

The manufacturer of this watch is Hanhart Chronographs, which was founded in 1882 in Diessenhofen, Switzerland, by Johann A. Hanhart. In 1902, operations were moved to Schwenningen in southern Germany, the stronghold of German watchmaking. They produced watches for the German Navy during WW1 and WW2. This model, as indicated on the watchface, has a 3-Jewel movement.
