Original Item: Only One Available. A wonderful Luftwaffe Barracks Lantern (Leuchte). A silver painted, metal alloy lantern with a 7.5cm diameter, vented top, four original frosted glass panels with wire handle and hook. A small raised candle holder to the center of the lamp. The lamp measures approximately 5" x 5" x 11" tall. Each of the glass panels has two crossed wires to the exterior to protect the glass. The bottom has four raised feet as well as ventilation holes. The bottom is marked with a Luftwaffe eagle with FL UV which represents Flieger Unterkunft Verwaltung or Flight Barracks Administration along with GIBE and the date [19]38. Overall condition is good but used, and notably all four frosted glass panels are original and only one is damaged which is rare.
