Original Item: LIMITED QUANTITIES. What a find! From a Danish Fire department we have received a small quantity of these Original German WW2 issue M38 Gas Masks each complete with it's correct filter can. Each original supple rubber mask bears it's original German manufacturer's codes and markings and complete with original head straps. The filter cans, also original WW2 still bear the impressed WW2 markings and have been maintained on a continual basis ready for use right up until release from the Fire Department.
For years we had the fluted Carry Cans but no Masks (the soldiers used to throw away the masks and use the cans for personal items), now we have the masks but regret no original cans, we do have a wonderful reproduction can. These are In great condition, this is your last chance to complete your German WW2 Model 1938 gas mask to your collection.

A beautiful piece of history
I chose the hand select option with the mask to get the most value from my purchase. The mask arrived faster than expected, and was packaged well. The item itself is in great condition, the hand select option really being the way to go. I can highly recommend buying one of these before they dry up, just don't try to breathe through the mask with the original FE41 filter in it, the carbon was treated with asbestos back in the day.
Gas Mask
Great condition, as advertised. I did ask about getting a size large mask since I was also paying for the hand picked option. I received absolutely no response. I find that very poor customer service. The item gets five stars. Customer service, one star.

The picture says it ALL! The mask is in excellent condition, and I have never seen these anywhere else in this condition for this price. This re-instills the fact that IMA is the Cadillac of dealers of militaria.
I've just got my order
I've just got my order in the mail today. It took around 4 working days, so it was fast. I've received a green colored mask. It is in great shape, has a lot of factory markings and a red, I would guess, Danish(?) stamp. It fits perfectly in my face. Therefore I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Awesome product! This is just another one of those "attention to detail" items that will really make your impression shine. I love it. It looks and fits great. Some minor scuffs on the lenses and other general wear, but overall, in pretty good shape for a product of its age. Thanks, IMA! PS - If you get one with the LONG filter can, you MIGHT have trouble getting it to fit in the canister. I have a short filter, and I really had to stuff mine in there to get it to close, and it's tight.

Item arrived quickly and is in GREAT condition ( Even better than the display I think ) and also came with it's own cloth case which was a very nice suprise. Will be ordering from here again =)
