Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. These are extremely unusual and not the typical GI war souvenir to make its way home to the U.S. This is a quality heavy leather construction belt pouch intended exclusively for Medics in the field. It almost looks like an over sized ammunition pouch or binocular case, but inside the lid is a full listing, on paper in German of the medical contents.
The interior has two ribbon raising straps for easy access to the contents at a time of need and the exterior is nicely stamped:
1940
BAUTZEN
There is also a prominent Waffenamt of spread eagle over WaA 159. The interior label detailing the contents is dated 1939. A rare German WW2 Medic's Pouch not often encountered.
