Original Item: Each German MG 34 machine gun was issued with a number of Mündungskappen MG to keep dirt out of the muzzle of the gun. The covers are made of rubber or rubber-like flexible material and fit over the mouth of the flash hider. Disposable items like this rarely survive, so these are rarely seen. IMA has only a few.
