Original German WWII Model FF33 Wehrmacht Field Telephone- Feldfernsprecher 33

Item Description

Original Item: First introduced as the Model 1933 these field communication telephones were produced virtually unchanged up until the late 1960s. Each phone comes in it's own bakelite case and operates with the use of two 1.5 volt Batteries (D-cell) and a fold out crank handle to initiate a ring on the receiving end.

Ingeniously designed with what appears to be a traditional wartime style handset, the lid interior has built in electrical circuit schematics for informational purposes. Used by the German Army throughout WW2 and continued in service for another 25 years into the Cold War era.

All phones are genuine wartime production dating from the 1937-1945 and each has a German inspection markings.

Each in fabulous display condition, all of the phones we tested operate but we do not guarantee functionality. See the book "Deutche Soldaten" by Agustin Saiz, pages 170/171, for more information on the Feldfernsprecher 33 phones.

Batteries not included.
