Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is a well made German petrol lighter made by LÜNDER, of Jungfernstieg, HAMBURG. The bottom is marked 1000 Lünder D.R.P., which stands for "Deutsches ReichsPatent", so this is definitely a wartime produced 1945 lighter.
The lighter is of brass construction, nickel plated with an eagle with down draped wings with a Swas in the center on one side, and a larger Spread winged NSDAP Eagle over a panel dated 1939 on the other. The nickel finish very worn on the edges of the case indicating a lot of use, however the large eagle shows nothing worn through, so it may be solid Nickel Silver.
No doubt the property of some very devout NSDAP Officer or Politician. Mesmerizing, and ready to display.
