Original Item: Only One Available. Recently purchased at a militaria show, is this genuine USGI bring back German WWII NSDAP Podium banner. The National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, abbreviated NSDAP), commonly known in English as the NSDAP Party, was a political party in Germany between 1919 and 1945. It was known as the German Workers' Party (DAP) before the name was changed in 1920.
The party's last leader, Adolf AH, was appointed Chancellor of Germany by president Paul von Hindenburg in 1933. AH rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as the Third Reich.
The banner is single sided red cotton with a printed black swas in white circle (one piece) stitched onto red background. Around this is a stitched on square white border, and there is a white fringe sewn onto the bottom. There is a sleeve at the top for hanging the banner onto the podium. It measures 29" x 29" not counting the fringe on the bottom.
Offered in very good condition, with some light wear and age toning.
