Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent example of a lesser known yet crucial piece of WWII radio equipment. It is a rare zinc alloy ground stake used for communications in combination with the FF33 field telephone. Grounding is the process of connecting a conductor or an electrical device to the earth, effectively providing a safe and stable path for excess electricity to escape. This reduces the risk of electrical shock, electrocution, and fires caused by unexpected voltage spikes or short circuits.
This example is in wonderful condition and even retains faint 1942 Solingen markings towards the top. It is in really good condition and appears to retain all original parts. The leather scabbard type carrier is in similar condition with service wear present.
A lovely example presented without any extensive damage that comes more than ready for display or even use.
