Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is a rare fully functional intricate Japanese WW2 handheld siren. Most of the original olive brown paint finish has worn away but is present on the crank handle. A fantastic data plate with Kani and serial number is mounted to the top. The wood handles are not chipped or cracked, and the folding crank handle works properly. The siren mechanism works perfectly, and is quite loud when cranked up to full cycle. Offered in complete and very good condition. These were used during the Air Raids over Tokyo and other major Japanese cities towards the end of World War Two.
