Original Item: Only One Available. A recent "attic find" this is an original and totally honest trowel bayonet introduced in 1873 for the .45-70 Springfield Trapdoor Rifle. Intended for use as a bayonet that doubled as an entrenching tool either on or off the rifle.
Offered in nice sleeper condition virtually as found having only been wiped clean. Totally complete in need of a little TLC that will result in a wonderful example of this unusual and rare American bayonet.
