Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. These were for issue before the Great War and were designed to be for use with the Berthier Carbine or short rifles. Featuring nice hardwood grips that are worn, but without cracks or separation from other components and has the rivets completely flush and intact. Pommel is spotted with rust and some wear. This particular bayonet is in fine condition.
This model has an abbreviated quillion of the WW1 era that shows some wear, and bears the numbers: B 35822 The dark blade is generally unsullied and is free from rust of serious groove wear and has a fuller that reaches 95% of the blade.
The scabbard has some slight rust with a few dents in spots, and bears the mismatched number: F 997263
These are becoming harder to find as time goes on, and this is definitely a very good example. Straight out of an old collection, still with arsenal grease. Ready to clean and display!
