Original Item: Only One Available. Classic U.S. M-1860 Cavalry Sword carried by the Union Army during the war between the states (1861-1865).
Original 35' curved steel blade marked faintly 'AMES MFG, CHICOPPEE, MASS' on one side and 'U.S. '186?' on the other. Brass three branch guard and wire bound leather-covered grip, complete with polished steel two ring scabbard.
Offered in very good original collectable condition showing use commensurate with age.
