Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is a 1950s Korean War Era Armored Vehicle & Tanker Helmet, most likely manufactured by Riddell, but the label is under one of the glued on pads. Like most of the early tanker helmets after WWII, the design is very similar to the football helmets of the time. This example features complete rigging on the inside, with an intact crown pad.
It has ear padding and external ear phones on both sides, though there definitely is wear and degradation. The original wiring is still present, but it has split and likely no longer functional. Like most early helmets, this one looks to have been modified more than once during its service life. Size is approximately a US 6 3/4
